... Yes it is very possible. I have a cyst on my liver along with a fatty liver. I first had an ultra sound, then a CT scan, and several other tests. All of the test showed was that my liver was fatty and enlarged. It wasn't until I had a MRI that the cyst showed up. ... (1 replies)

... my gastroenterologist wanted to do a barium CT scan to check and make sure it hasn't grown. One spot, I think no big deal. With cancer, you surely would have more than one. I agreed to the test though I didn't see the point, really. ... (4 replies)
... Thank you for your quick response. I dont know yet if my cyst is filled with fluid or not. The CT scan said I had a cyst on my right ovary but now I have to go for an ultrasound i guess to find out for sure if it is in fact filled with fluid. ... (7 replies)

... I had an ultrasound done of the female area because of some cysts. My doctor also wanted me to have an ultra sound done of my stomach because in the MRI that was performed they said there was an uncharterized cyst on my kidney and he said he wanted to make sure he wasn't missing anything. ... ... NASH should spike liver enzymes at least over the edge of the upper normal range, so I wouldn't sweat this possibility too much at this point. A GGT liver enzyme blood lab is a more sensitive marker for liver inflammation and you might ask for this to be added to your labs next time they are drawn. ... (5 replies)
