Her mets were in the liver yet she opted for treatment and lived another 2.5 yrs and most of it was very good quality time .The 2nd line treatment she got Tarceva which wiped out the actual lung tumor and it never came back and it wiped out some of the liver mets but the liver mets did eventually start growing again. ...
