I have the same thing also, but it has been going on for about 1-2 months. Green thick phlegm, some blood if I hack hard enough, no fever. I used to get bronchitus when I was in grade school, but have not since I'm 33. What is it?
Tan32,

I wish there were instant answers for this stuff. As far as people not understanding, I think most of us can relate to that. It sounds as if this has seriously affected your physical and emotional well-being. My compassion is with you.

Has your doctor run any bloodwork? I've been to 2 Pulmonogists and neither of them did, but my GP ran quite a few as well as a TB skin test. Everything was normal. I looked some of the tests up and found that one of them is used to determine Wegener's Granulomatous Disease. However, he did not run the blood test for Valley Fever. There are so many things to consider.

It's important to be an advocate for your own healthcare. Please keep us updated. Thoughts are with you...
