Lung & Respiratory Disorders / COPD Message Board

Lung & Respiratory Disorders / COPD Board Index

I woke up this morning and had a little soreness in my chest area, I couldn't really get a good breathe without it hurting. I have been yawning all day and it is not that I am tired, it is like my body is trying to breathe and the yawning must be coming natural to it......

Anyway, I used to smoke years ago and have quit smoking, now today it feels like I have been smoking again and I can smell cigarette smoke through my nose, and it hurts. I know that doesn't sound like it makes sense but that is how I am feeling.

Two nights ago my husband and I were laying in bed getting ready to sleep and my voicebox area kept making a raspy noise. Almost like sometime when I laugh alot it I get the same way, I don't know if that would be weeziness.

Anyway, I can't get a deep breathe and when I do, if anyone in here swims and you know when your lungs hurt from swimming for hours. Well that is how my lungs are feeling but not as bad.

Oh, and I am feeling really full today, everytime I go to eat I eat 4 or 5 bites of food and I feel like I am going to burst. I have eaten normal or less than normal today.

OH, I forgot to mention, we go into homes and pack things up, to sell at auction down the road. Anyway, the husband and wife were smoking yesterday but not really around us, because I asked them nicely not to because I can't stand the smell of cigarettes. Do you think just being around and in the house could have done something?

Thanks,
Lookin
