The doctor told me it was most likely axeity and that I should just take something to calm down. So he prescribed me something called Hydroxyzine. ... I have had shortness of breath for the past 6 months and the doctors can't seem to find a cure. My normal doctor referred me to a pulmanary (sp) doctor last week and he concluded with the PFT I did that I have asthuma (sp) After 4 days of taking flowvent and serevent I still have shortness of breath, tight chest and chest pain. Basically, over the years, we have learned to stop breathing deep in our bellies, as all newborns do, and learned to breathe in our chest's. Most of the time this is completely unconscious.
