The doctor suggested to do a ct scan hwoever she did give an option to do it or not! can anyone please provide some extra information on the dangers of these nodules, and if if they are tiny does that mean they are benign? ... sure, it was cancer! I went through a cancer "staging" procedure biopsing all the lymph nodes in my chest, and all were benign. The nodule itself was in an area they couldnt biopsy, plus, unless they can get a positive biopsy for either fungus, infection, or malignant cells ect.. ... (5 replies)

... Welcome to the boards! Yes, from what I have read, Rheumatoid Arthritis can cause lung nodules. The common approach with a nodule like yours is a 'wait and see' approach. If there is no change in it in 2 years, it is considered benign. ... (1 replies)

... otten the answers you needed, but in case not this was my experience. as a result of pain in my back, I had a chest xray. The result showed a cracked rib and a nodule on my lower left lung. No correlation, just lucky for me it was found. This resulted in a ct scan, a pet scan, and a needle biopsy. ... (5 replies)
