... Tan32, I wish there were instant answers for this stuff. As far as people not understanding, I think most of us can relate to that. It sounds as if this has seriously affected your physical and emotional well-being. My compassion is with you. Has your doctor run any bloodwork? I've been to 2 Pulmonogists and neither of them did, but my GP ran quite a few as well as a TB... (17 replies)
... Update: Since last entry things seem to have gotten worse. Started seeing a lung specialist who performed a broncoscopy and found a benign tumor in the air passage of my right lung. Quess this was beyond her expertise, so she refered me to a pulmonologist at Emory Clinic of Atlanta, Ga. Had first visit with the new doc about 2 weeks ago but have yet to see him again. ... ... I had my 15 yr old daughter in the emergency room last weekend for coughing up blood. Her doctor recommended going for a chest xray to rule out pneumonia because of the blood. He said most likely it was coming from her sinuses.... Lo and behold he was right. Bad case of bronchitis and blood from her sinuses going down the back of her throat. Good luck to you both on...
