... Our lungs are muscles and so if you were a smoker and you quick smoking then yes the COPD will make them sore. When you quit you will start using all those muscles you use to use to breathe but haven't in awhile. So all muscles that have been wasting away will be put to use. Also it takes a few months to really start appreciating the effort you made to quit smoking. (1 replies)
