... Hi quincy, thanks again for all your support, on Thursday they came to clamp off the tube and then sent him to xray again to see if the air leaks stopped and the tube could come out, seemed all was going well and maybe he would come home the next day... ... (26 replies)

... chest tube yesterday then took another xray to see how the lung does and to see if the drainage stopped, well the drainage is still there and quite a bit and the lung now has another air leak, not sure if it's a new hole or around the staple spot. Seems like this will never end and he is very depressed and discouraged. ... (26 replies)

... you are feeling well soon. One more question, is it possible for the lung to be in such bad shape that it stops functioning, one doctor said maybe it was a dead lung and he should just have it removed, but I don't think that doctor knew his case. ... (26 replies)

I will call tomorrow but I thing he should go to the hospital since he has the chest tube in and has not gotten better but is now getting worse. Hi Quincy,yes i had the scopes and they went in three places on my back close to each other ,i had the first drainage tube under my armpit and after surgery a new tube went in just under that again, but as for the sorness and swelling thats on my chest probabaly where the lung was stuck up to the top of the rib cage and wfere the stapling was done inside the lung,so really im...
