... Some of the drugs used when a patient is intubated can cause long-term effects, including hallucinations and nightmares which go away over time. Your dad's doctor should be made aware of his problems. Possibly he needs an anti-depressant or something for anxiety. It's good that you are there for him, Shelley. (2 replies)
