I am in a support group for NTM, many of us are being treated, there are some women who have been diagnoised with MAC, feel great and have no symptoms, and they are not being treated. ... A cough from bronchitis or pneumonia can last for a few weeks because the bronchi and lungs are still irritated. If it bothers you, I'm sure you could see your doctor and possibly use an inhaled steroid like Flovent for a few weeks. Also, yes, you can get bronchitis from post nasal drip.
