... Honey, you need to do what my sister does. She got a small baby syringe and a nasal wash. You can buy it at Walmart, I think. Its in powder form. At least the one she uses is. She mixes it with sterile water, sucks it up in the syringe, leans over her sink and sprays it up her nose. She says she gets all kinds of gunk out. ... A cough from bronchitis or pneumonia can last for a few weeks because the bronchi and lungs are still irritated. If it bothers you, I'm sure you could see your doctor and possibly use an inhaled steroid like Flovent for a few weeks. Also, yes, you can get bronchitis from post nasal drip.
