... The pulmonary specialist will be able to tell you more. Sometimes fluid can show up as a nodule....it could be anything.

... From what I understand, nodules can be lots of things, many benign. Rescanning in 6 months is standard procedure to check any nodule.
Benign reasons are common and can be related to granulomas formed around old infections. (or exposures to fungal mold spores).
I think if they were worried about it they would tell you to have another scan sooner. Try not to worry too... (16 replies)
