Last time i had a medical checkup, x-ray photos of my lungs showed some white spots on them, the doctor asked me if i smoke and this is mostly caused by smoking, but i didn't smoke and he said this is probably due to high reception of second hand smoke or just because my lungs are more sensitive to these chemicals. Any ideas about this? As far as i remember, i don't hang out... (0 replies)

Yes, you can feel worse for a couple of days after starting an ATB. The medicine is loosening the phlegm so you will cough more to get it up. Hang in there and drink loads of water. Bactrim... ... hing else other than BACTRIM..The stuff just doesnt do the trick..I played around that for 3 weeks when I had pneumonia and I got worse so bad until the point my lung formed an abscess ..Took me 3 months to even get the mess cleared up..Id ask your dr for levaquin "rough stuff " but within the 1st 3 days of taking it .. ... ... Hi, I was just told that I have walking pneumonia (2 small spots of it on one side). This all started when my sisters kids went to school and got some kind of virus (still not sure what it was but one of the kids was later diagnosed with "whooping cough?") but we all ended up with some form of virus and toughed it out.
