... Ive been taking one pill every 12 hours since yesterday. My chest doesnt sound too horrible when i breathe out but i still havent coughed much out. How long until it starts to work? ... Im thru like day 5 of bronchitis. fevers gone, feeling better, but still hear and feel the stuff in my chest, but its taking its merry old time to come out. Doc has me on Tussi-Organidin NR which ive been taking 3x a day. All its doing is making me drowsy and dizzy. Has anyone tried Mucinex? Does it work? I want to try it. Any side effects? ... I had a cough develop a little over a month ago. I had a runny nose occasionally, but no fever. I tried OTC medications and they didn't work, so I went to the doctor last week. My dr wasn't there, so I saw a new dr. She said it looked like "a little sinusitis and maybe a touch of bronchitis". She gave me a steroid shot, a Zpac and told me to get some Zyrtec. ... I totally agree with the Melatonin claim. I tried all kind of sleeping pills. Hated all the side effects of all of them. I tried Melatonin after it was recommended by a friend. It worked on the first night. You can take two pills too if one doesn,t work. The only side effect I have noticed is if I have to take 2 pills I will get up headachy some times. (7 replies)
