... yeah, i had the cough for like 2 weeks before i got the other symptoms and it was just a cough, no runny or stuffed nose, no sore throat, nothing. get the chest x-ray. hopefully it'll be negative, and whatever it is you have will pass. good luck and feel better. (5 replies)

... I have Emphysema and it isn't fun! Knowing what I know now I would run to the Pulmonologist the first mention of having Emphysema. I didn't have any symptoms until I reached the severe state. ... e. Here I'm mentioning them again, but my pleural effusions now seem to be making noises. Most of the time, like you described, but sometimes I can hear gurgling in them like my stomach is growling, only it's in my chest.
