... I don't know what you mean exactly by "scope with pleurodesis", but the surgery wasn't made using a scope. It was a normal surgery in which the doctor made a chest surgery and removed all those blebs.
I have the feeling below the place where the surgery was made.

I had a thoracotomy with pleurodesis abrasion and bleb stitching in 1975 (so major chest surgery with long and painful recovery) ...I get knocking feeling along the incision area. Probably the area rubbing against my ribs that were removed and wired back in.

... Hi...I would strongly suspect that if I were having your symptoms my first thought would be symptoms of slight leakage or something related to your past pneumothorax. I do have the experience, so I know exactly the sensations/pain/discomfort and "gurgling" you're meaning.

... If you see a chiropractor, I'd suggest you have your upper and mid back adjusted. I also get that symptom as well (and it goes down my arm sometimes too) and the chiro definitely can relieve it.
It won't hurt to have it done.
