... DazedandConfused, Have you tried the reflux medication yet? I am concerned because acid reflux can be the cause of asthma. I shouldn't say asthma itsself, but "asthma-like" symptoms in a patient with chronic cough. The acid that is escaping your esophagous and irritating your larynx, it its attempt to go "down" again, may be going into your lungs, instead of back down... (20 replies)

Anyway, they couldn't find any reflux for me but when I had the endoscopy they found my entire esophagous eroded from reflux so given a choice I would take the endo. ... Yes, stress can bring it on but it is usually acute not on and off like you mention. It does seem strange that in a virtually clean environment that you would get it unless there is a cleaning chemical or it could just be your asthma is kicking up.
