... rhonchi is an old word for harsh wheezing. Means there's secretions rolling around, usually, making a noise. Rales is an old word for high-pitched polyphonic wheezing. Any ideas? If you're really this worried then get a second opinion, and ask about the possibility of a chest x-ray. If you have something bad (like a pneumonia) in your lung causing this pain, it may be...
