Your pulmo dr. should have preliminary bronchoscopy results by now. Final results might take several weeks as they have to culture for different pathogens. I presume you have had CXR and CT scans of lungs; do they show a region of inflammation? Continued pneumonia could indicate they aren't... (4 replies)
... I seem to have continual pneumonia. It goes away and comes back. I had a bronchoscopy a week ago Fri., but dr. hasn't called with any results. Perhaps no news is good news.
