... pain started, and it showed no collapse. Apparently, the xray was perfect, and space from my wedge resection seemed to be getting smaller, which is good. The pain I had is gone, and now I'm left with this.. crunchy bubbling. It's really disheartening, considering nothing was found. Would fluid be shown on an xray? ... (21 replies)

... Hi...good to hear you had the pleurodisis done with resection of the blebs. It takes a while for all to heal, and it's possible you are having some air bubbles (as I call them) through that area, even if a very tiny bleb has ruptured but not caused a collapse. Have you had an x-ray of your lung since surgery? Have you mentioned the discomfort site to your doctor? ... (21 replies)

... d to go through with the pleurodesis a month ago. It wasn't as bad as I thought. Of course when I woke up, I couldn't breathe because of the mucus, and I was in pain from the chest tube, but I seemed to recover quickly, probably due to my age. 2 weeks out, the worst of my pain was gone. ...
