... bronchitis like symptoms. Went to my family Dr. have been on 4 antibiotics, cortisteroid inhaler. Went to pulmanologist PA who prescribed another inhaler which I did not take as the side effects were not good with another health issue I have. ... (2 replies)
... ral effusion. A 3rd chest xray a week later showed about the same, then an ultrasound also came back with "moderate pleural effusion". ... Thanks both of you for your suggestions. Appreciated. I had a lung function test done last summer 04. It's always low, I don't know the numbers only see the graph. I do have heart arrhythymias (SP) so I cannot take albuterol with the test so it's just the first part, nothing to expand my b.tubes. I refuse a bronchoscopy as my husband died of lung cancer and watching him... (18 replies)

... You know I really don't have any ashtma symptoms that I know of. Only when the Pulmanologist told me I had low lung function and stated it was some asthma-like condition. He also stated that since I was just getting over bronchitis, asthma can initroduce itself at that time. (I'm in my mid 60's, never had anything like asthma as a child).
