... The popping sound you hear is more than likely the sound of nitrogen gas being released from the bone spaces. When you go to the chiropractor, they aren't "cracking" your bones. They are adjusting and realigning, and that popping sound is nitrogen gas being released from the fluid that cushions your bones.
