... Hi everyone. First post. First some background. I'm a 35 year old male in relatively good health. I'd estimate that I'm 25 lbs overweight. As an infant I had whooping cough. Growing up I had mild Asthma and took Ventolin and Becklovent. I smoked on and off from ages 15-30 (about 1/2 pack per day) with a few 1 year quits in between. ... Atrovent is an anticholinergic medication like Spiriva. It's generic name is ipratropium bromide. It'd probably be worth it to ask the doctor about it. It's available with albuterol in it also, in a nebulized medication called Duoneb. (4 replies)

... That is good news! They will probably put you on inhaled meds like Spiriva and/or Symbicort and maybe a nebulizer treatment once a day. I would not worry. When my function was at 70% and my nodules were unchanged that's what they did and just kept a watch on my functions and did an xray once a year and a CT scan when functions went down.
