... I would suggest that you ask for a referral to a pulmonologist. It sounds like there is more than pneumonia going on, especially considering the weight loss. Did they do a sputum culture, when you were in for pneumonis the first time? You made need a broncoscopy with washings, to determine if there is something going on, other than plain old pneumonia.
