... Badlungz...you say you have UILD - interstitial lung disease? Yes, they ARE related to autoimmune. I'm just this side of being diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), from a prev. dx of COPD. My lungs have been pretty stable up until this year. It seems that I am always constantly aware of my breathing, and when you are aware of your breathing you tend to breath for yourself, rather than letting your bodt breathe naturally. ... cines, though. Inhaled steroids such as Flovent or Qvar can actually prevent symptoms. They take a week or so to start working, so you need other medicines for sudden symptoms, but once they start working, they can help a lot. ... (34 replies)
