... hello, im here for my mom. for about six weeks now, she has been experiencing persistant lung pain, not from breathing, but constant pain in her entire left lung. at first we thought that it was bronchitis, and had it checked for pneumonia, the pneumonia was ruled out with a chest xray and blood work. ... ... ould kill you! Yes, you can feel worse for a couple of days after starting an ATB. The medicine is loosening the phlegm so you will cough more to get it up. Hang in there and drink loads of water. Bactrim is a cephalesporin,so you need lots of fluids with it. ... (13 replies)
