... Can any tell me ofmy dna da as of 1:320 is very high? Reference range is negative, 1:10 positive. The doc says probably lupus. I have high RNP of 7.8' Ana 1:160 speckled. I have at least 6 of the 11 criteria for lupus, but doc is not saying that lupus is the official dx. I am taking Plaquenil and if this does not work, wants me to try Benlysta. ... Hello, My wife has been back to back pregnant and nursing for the last 5 years, with 3 kids. She just finished breastfeeding 2 weeks ago and had some blood work done last week for some mild Post Partum Depression. The tests came back with an ANA of 1:160 Speckled. ... Welcome. I suggest you read the sticky posts at the top of this thread that deals with Lupus diagnostics. It has a lot of good information. Was the doctor that ruled out Lupus a Rheumatologist? Generally one does not have to have all the symptoms or labs to be diagnosed, merely a combo of some. Reading the lab post above should shed some light on that concern. (3 replies)
... No diagnosis of anything other than a history of ITP (low platelets) No medical insurance anymore to even see a doctor. I've seen the same rheumatologist twice and he says there is nothign wrong with me, not even fibromyalgia or anything. ... My daughter had + ANA 1:320 homogenous pattern 6 months ago, elevated RF but normal CRP and ESR. Now RF is neg, CRP and ESR are slightly elevated and ANA is 1:160 speckled. She has fatigue, body aches, proteinuria which comes and goes, She has many GI symptoms which I have read can be Lupus related. So might she have Lupus? Not that I want her to have it, but people say... (3 replies)
... Yes , it was the results by crithidia ifa testing. The only other abnormal was the high RNP and Ana of 1:160 speckled pattern over the year. I did have a skin biopsy which showed maybe indication of lupus. Like I said the rheumy just said udct even with the high RNP, but now said probably lupus. So Vee, would a 1:320 dna ds ab like really high when the normal is below 1:10?... (5 replies)
