... I do hope you get an appointment soon. If you are not on rx naproxen, you might ask your pcp for it. Since it is helping some, the rx dose is more than double the OTC dose, and insurance may cover the rx cost. It's 500 mg twice a day instead of the 220mg you get OTC. ... Princess, I think more blood tests make sense (alas). I had blood taken frequently, and yes, that's tiresome; but blood results are probably the fastest, clearest path to answers. My drs. told me that timing can be important, that it's best to have blood drawn when your symptoms are "on the rise", not when you're on the upswing or dormant. Regarding ANA-negative lupus:...
