... Itchy skin is probably inflammation of the skin. I get this when my prednisone level is low and I have a flare. The itch is unbearable. Only thing that helps me temporarily is a hot shower. A high dose of prednisone takes care of it. ... (7 replies)

... Mine has only stayed on my face; across my nose - the"wolf" rash used as one of the criterias of Lupus. If I had other rashes, I'd go to a health food store, as they have many all natural creams for rashes, with NO chemicals that could make it worse. e.g. we have poison ivy/oak all over our property, and hubby uses an all natural one that works great.
