... I have been taking methotrexate for about 12 years. I personally haven't had any bad side effects from it. The thing is you have to remember to take folic acid when you take methotrexate. I take mine two days later. Your doctor may prescribe it to be taken differently but this is the way I do it. ... (5 replies)

... I am on 10 tabs weekly of methotrexate and I have not lost any hair. Be sure to take Folic Acid 1mg daily. Your doctor should have given you a script for it. You will feel so much better. I hope it works as well for you as it has for me. Let us know. ... (12 replies)
