... Itching could be a sign of any disease if you look up diseases. It is more than likely related to the alcohol or withdrawal from it.
A complete list of symptoms and telling your doc would help a lot in the process of solving it. The vitamin deficiencies related to the alcohol may be the culprit although I am not a doctor so take what I say with a grain of salt.
