... i don't believe 51 is old either (especially now i'm fast approaching 57!) - in fact, one of the good things (probably THE only good thing) about starting with hip problems in my late 40's was being told all the time 'you're very young to need a hip replacement' - i only used to hear the 'you're very YOUNG' bit!!:D i'm a great believer in getting to the bottom of things,...
