... Hello I am sorry about what is happening to you. I found out at 10wks that I had a blighted ovum and I went for a second opinion about a week later to confirm that infact it was a blighted ovum. ... (7 replies)
... I was diagnosed with a Blighted Ovum on the 15th of Aug. the doctor I was with didn't explain anything at all about it and told me to come back in a week for another ultrasound. ... (2 replies)
... so sorry that you are going through this, it is all very difficult. First and foremost you need to deal with your pregnancy situation. Spotting and even bleeding in early pregnancy is not unusual and does not in itself mean you have or inevitably will m/c. If your pregnancy looked earlier than you believed and you are sure of your dates then there is a chance that you could... (5 replies)
... month old placenta. I cried so hard I broke the blood vessels in my face. The pathology report indicated that due to the blighted ovum, I could have carried full term, how awful that is why they induced me. ... (6 replies)
... C. I have been bleeding for 25 days, now. I saw my Dr. a couple of days ago. He did a scan to see if any tissue remained, but couldn't see anything, and said I would be fine. ... (4 replies)
... Just wanted to post an update. The miscarriage started yesterday, exactly two weeks after being diagnosed. It started light during the day - brown spotting, then brownish red. I had another acupuncture session last night at 7pm. Later, at around 9pm, the really bad cramping started and lasted about an hour and a half. After the cramping let up, the really heavy bleeding... ... Thanks for your responses. I will make a decision very soon. I'm hoping that I'll start bleeding/spotting in the next couple of days. Otherwise, I guess I'll have to schedule a D&C.
I have an acupuncture session scheduled tonight which is supposed to help speed up the process. I hope it works. I'll keep you posted.
Thanks again. (7 replies)
... painful. However, this week, which would be my 10th week of pregnancy, I still have no signs of miscarriage. I have some occasional premenstrual cramping but no bleeding or spotting. ... (7 replies)
... I am sorry it was not good news for you. This is such a sad time hey? You will have been back to your doctor by now so maybe this isn't relevant information but if you are bleeding heavily then it is likely you wouldn't need a D&C. In my experience, I went away for a week to see if would happen naturally and it didn't so D&C was my best option, but really didn't want one... (5 replies)

I'm so sorry you are having to deal with this alone. It is definitely a frightening thing and I wish your partner was more supportive. But Kelly it right. Maybe he's just scared that you are pg. Even though he wanted it, once that stick turns pink, everything is different. And add on top of it the realization that not all pregnancies end in a baby may just be more... (5 replies)
... One more question - how long did you have spotting for before bleeding... and how long for the whole thing to stop. I've been spotting lightly for 5 days now.
Thank you for your help.

... I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how tough it is to move on after having a miscarriage - especially when it's something that you really, really wanted. I will tell you that it should not affect your future abilities to get pregnant. I was actually pregnant again 2 weeks after my miscarriage and am now 23 weeks pregnant! We were not trying, but obviously we did not use... (6 replies)

... I'm so sorry you've had to endure this. The wait is agonizing. I have had two missed miscarriages (baby died but never had bleeding or cramping). I'm going through one right now (things still haven't started up; I'll probably be induced if they don't soon).
I have tried several herbal remedies both times but nothing worked for me. That's not to say it won't work for you so... (3 replies)

... Thank you for your replies. I'm sorry I haven't replied sooner but I was swallowed by the events happening for the past two weeks. I did get a D&C 4 days ago and it went very well. Of course, I got general anesthesia and that is very easy. The little cramping and little bleeding after were very manageable and they gave me something for pain when I came out (it works...
