... I have ON and get the sparkles all the time, with blurry eye, a free high I guess. Sparkles and halos around light can also be glaucoma. ... (6 replies)
... I'm sure there's a better way to describe this but does anyone see the floaty sparkles? I used to get them when I'd stand up to fast or had a bad headache but for the last week or so I see them several times a day out of no where. Is this a symptom of ms or just one of my weird quirks? ... ON is Optic Neuritis. It's painful to move your eye, and you usually have a big blind spot in your field of vision. It's caused when your optic nerve to the back of your eye swells. Most people with MS have this at sometime, and it's loads of fun. Steroids, steroids, steroids. Usually effects one eye, although sometimes you can get really lucky and have it in both eyes. ... :wave: Hi Sorry but what is ON? I am fairly new on here and the abbreviations are hard sometimes to figure out. I get what I call "twinkles." Currently, my right hip is in so much pain I can hardly stand it. :eek: Did you ever experience what feels like a hip joint problem? Is this a symptom of MS too? ... Hi, Would you also describe them as "twinkles?" They float around and the more you try to focus on them the more those disappear while others are still in view? I have these but I have not yet been diagnosed yet, although many other MS symptoms. Have you heard anything about these yet? Lisa (6 replies)

... Thanks for your vote of confidence N. ;) .... I think that some life experiences often determine how we will cope with issues when they arise. I don't mean to sound weird or freaky, but when you are presented with challenges that include losing loved family members, in the event that you discover you have a challenge - looking back at how family handled their individual...
