... Is the amount infused the same, just over a shorter vs. longer period, or is it actually more medication? The reason I ask is I was diagnosed with MS 2 yrs ago and immediately received a 3 day IV treatment for symptoms. The 3 days resolved all my symptoms until now (2 yrs later). I started having hand and foot tingling last week and my neuro (a different neuro) ordered 5 days... (2 replies)

... Hi the IV that you are going in for , is pretty standard. They will give you IV Steroids, known as Solumedrol, its a form of Prendisone. Takes about 2 hours to drip into your arm.
