... if you are not happy with the neuro and think that he/she did not delve enough into your symptoms to satisfy you , let them know in a very diplomatic way you are not satisfied that every thing was done to address you concerns ,of course you will still need an ortho if you have bone issues the doctor that did surgery on my cervical spine was a neurosurgeon that specilized... ... Hate to say it, but ususally lesions are NOT obvious. A trained eye can tell the difference between a white spot on the film and a lesion....and a Neurologist can tell the difference between a lesion which is from a prior illness, or migrane, and a MS lesion. ... (5 replies)

Neck Pain and MS?

... Hi there and welcome to healthboards. There could be a connection between degerative problems and neck pain, but MS wouldnt cause neck pain.....although MS does include pain. Neck pain can just as easily be caused by a pinched nerve, or from a lesion in the spinal cord....neither of which are degenrative... ... (4 replies)
