... diagnosed by ruling out everything else....and some brain infections, like meningitis and PML present alot like MS symtoms. Those can easily be ruled out with a spinal tap. ... An MS Specialist is simply a Neuro who sees nothing BUT MS patients...in your case, I would think it might be beneficial to you. Of course they are usually hard to get appoitnmtnts with, so it certainly wouldnt hurt to see your husband's neuro first...even if it is a bust, it might make you feel better! ... (14 replies)
