Myofascial problems don't have much to do with myositis, I'm afraid.
The #1 thing with this is to learn to perform self-release on your trigger points. I found the "trigger point manual" to be a book of great value. And my current personal trainer is really clever at dealing with them. Find a massage therapist or similar... (1 replies)

... HI, I have myofascial pain disease and also a rapid heart rate (tachycardia) for which I take toprol for. My seemed to come on very suddenly in Feb 2007. I am still looking for another answer to this rapid heart rate, but maybe this is just it.
