... You ca always apply a coating of resin over the top much like a wrap. You don't necessarily need to use fiberglass or silk fabric, just the resin. You can get it at Sally Beauty Supply; it is called Wrap Resin by IBD. Get some 'Hurry Up' glue dryer as well.
