... Tiny pin dot depressions in the nail plate are indicative of Nail Psoriasis. You should take him to his pediatrician. He should probably be checked for skin psoriasis as well as the two usually occur together, or one is predictive of the other. Look it up on the net. (2 replies)

... isn't nail fungus, but excema. Go back to the doctor or dermatologist and have them check your fingernails and skin for signs of excema. Excema can effect the nails as well. Also, if the nail plate is pitted with tiny pindot depressions, it could be nail psoriasis. ... (4 replies)
