... You ca always apply a coating of resin over the top much like a wrap. You don't necessarily need to use fiberglass or silk fabric, just the resin. You can get it at Sally Beauty Supply; it is called Wrap Resin by IBD. Get some 'Hurry Up' glue dryer as well. Remove the shine with a 240 grit buffer and cleanse with alcohol to remove any nail dust and to temporarily dehydrate... (1 replies)
... I have weird toenails anyway (from my grandmom it seems).. but my 2nd toe on my left foot.. for years.. there is this one crack in it that goes down to about 2/5 of an inch from the base where the cuticle is. I let them grow, and it'll stay together alright, but I have to be VERY careful when I clip my toenails, or if I walk into something.. it'll knock out the entire top... (1 replies)
... I did, said blisters under my nails. Once they went away nails felt better, but they're now hollow, only attached along the edges....feels so weird. Now I just have to be careful til they start to grow again. Decide if they still eventually fall out, yeah, totally super gluing it back on!! Thanks for your response! (3 replies)

... some piece of mind regarding a toenail issue. On both of my big toenails, I have horizontal indentations. My other toenails are pretty tiny, so I haven't seen anything on them. Haven't noticed anything weird with my fingernails either. ... (2 replies)
... I know this sounds weird and all...but my toenails are looking dried out like. I know they grow because I trim how can I bring the color back so they dont look disgusting when I wear sandals... ... (4 replies)
... d mentioned it might be athletes foot so I treated it and it went away but left 3 of my toe nails with fungus, I guess. My dad and his mother also have toenails are sooo gross looking I can't stand it. I went to my doctor and she just looked at it and said there is no cure for it. ... (1 replies)
... Alright, so the last couple years, my toenails (the 3 middle ones on each foot) have indented. It's so weird -- it's like, I can take my finger and set it on the nail perfectly and it rests in the toe like the toe curved a perfect bowl for my fingertip. What causes this??? It is SO weird. ... i mean i don't wanna cut it down cuz it's weird to have ur nails cuz down to the skin when u wanna wear flip flops cuz it's spring. ... (0 replies)
... No, it's not wierd - it is perfectly normal in the majority of people. I am a nail technician of over 35 years standing and I would have to say that at least 90% of my clients had ski-jump pinkie toenails - so do I as a matter of fact. The shape of the nail is mandated by the shape of the underlying bone tip, and most pinky toes have a slight upward turn to the pinky bone.... (5 replies)
... Is anyone else's pinky toenail like this? It doesn't grow straight out like all of my other toenails, it grows up (like towards the sky). It's so weird! (5 replies)
... ...but my toenails on my pinky toes grows directly straight up (like towards the sky), not out like normal toes. It isn't painful, infected, etc...I was just curious to see if anyone else is like this. It's very odd and funny. I cut it because it's so sharp sticking up and it basically takes the whole nail off, its so small. I guess I have almost no nail bed. It's been like... (1 replies)
... really didn't feel the same. I feel not dizzy, but more so disoriented or unbalanced when I walk or look around. I can walk straight and all that, it just feels weird like that. ... (0 replies)
... hey guys! ok, I have a very very weird problem going on and it'd be wonderful if anyone knew how to solve it it was in january when I was doing my toenails and noticed a weird skin (or whatever that thing was) pulling out of my nail. so I pulled it with nail pliers and a bit of the nail came off too, revealing the nail bed underneath. I do have a picking problem, I pick... (0 replies)
... I had an injury to my toenail a year ago. I started to die and fall off eventually, so i went to get the whole thing removed around May. Since then its been fine, my toe nail hasn't grown back which I figured it wouldnt. But it's developed a nail-type surface? It doesn't quite look like a nail, is is rather pre-mature looking (best way to describe it). My nail bed is much... (0 replies)
... I have used nail polish remover on them. And I had fake press on toenails on and I noticed the glue dried my nails out. Maybe that was it. ... (5 replies)

... to clip it. But I could definitely tell there was a difference in the two layers. A few days ago, I got the two layers to separate, but it's as if there are two toenails now. The one underneath is softer than the one on top, but it still seems like a nail. ... (2 replies)
... I've had ingrown toenails since I was younger, and I've been maintaining an infection for almost a year now. ... (0 replies)

... than the others were, so I was just treating that one for about 5 months, and I guess now that I see that it's actually working, I decided to try it on the other toenails that are affected. So the skin was like that before I started treating them. ... (3 replies)
... s. It is my fingernails that I am refering to. I do not have fungus on fingernails I am just afraid of it spreading there. My question was not about polishing my toenails but my fingernails. Do you think it is likely to spread nail fungus from toenails to fingernails? ... (5 replies)
