... Dear Terra, Thank you for your reply. It appears that both discs were herniated but since the discogram only showed pain in one disc (L5-S1) ofmy lower back and nothing with the other(L4-L5), they left the disc without pain alone. Take care God Bless FTM (9 replies)
... If the MRI really doesn't show any bulge or herniation, this sounds like you have a nerve entrapment, stretch at the nerve root or compression going on with the Fem. nerve. With the ROM of the legs, at the hip, the injury would seem to be at that level or at the nerve root. ... (9 replies)
... Dear TERRA157, Thank you for responding. Both my legs at times will go numb, to varing degrees. I have pain in the upper middle part of my left thigh. My left leg range of motion is considerably less than the right (although the right leg also has range of motion difficulties). Nerve test shows L4-L5 and L5-S1 radiculopathy, respectively. ... exam in the very beginning that the cause might not have showed up on the test. Maybe their is a possibility that these tests don't show the very first stages of nerve damage or neuropathy's. This is only my mind wondering..... gosh it never stops.... ... (3 replies)
