I've always had the larger pen and very short, fine needles; after a period of adaption, it's very easy to use. I inject the Forteo in the inner surface of alternate knees---there seems to be a 'dull spot' with diminished sensation.

In addition to the heart probs-that I haven't done anything about-I also have to have an ovarian cyst removed and the cramping and bloating makes sitting tough, plus my back remains the same, so sitting is hard to do anyway.
