... My Endo says that about all the drugs as does my PCP, then I end up with GERD, they over ride 80 mg of Nexium. Drug Induced IBS after just a few days on the crap. My pharmacy says I'm the side effect queen as I've rejected so many of them, starting with Estrogens. ... the higher the minus number the worse the bone density. The closer to a positive number, the better. Anyways, I would request the Fosamax from your back surgeon if you want to pursue taking it. They do prescribe it for patients waiting to improve bone density prior to surgery. ... (8 replies)
