If I'd known then what I know now, I wouldn't make the same mistake, nor we're there message boards like these to communicate and learn from and with other patients. ... Your low bone density makes sense with these health isssues and an osteoporosis med is appropriate. Hopefully you have no history of fracture. Before I would invest in these expensive (and effective0 meds (reclast or forteo), I would ask your MD to consider starting with Fosamax to see how you react and respond. ... I don't remember that person posting again. How long since your injection/infusion of Reclast? I can sure relate to your situation. These long acting injectable meds are not me for again, the fact the medication stays in your system with no way to get it out until it wear off is awful. I hope you can manage your side effects.
