... ved. It was approved based on the fact that I can not take bisphosphonates at least orally due to a stomach ulcer. My doctor said that the FDA guidelines limited Forteo to 2 years but she was requesting 2 more years after a break from treatment with Forteo of 3 years. ... (7 replies)

... I had close to the same experience as you. I made improvement on Forteo and then declined to have IV infusions of bisphosphonates. It only took 6 months for my BMD to go way down even lower than when I started the Forteo. ... (3 replies)
