... Just a suggestion but have you tried contacting your doctor to move your LEEP up. The anxiety of waiting for the procedure is the worse part. I had my LEEP moved up a month because I was tired of obsessing about having CIS and worrying about the procedure. ... (8 replies)

Quick Back ground, I went for my first Pap smear in 6 years last month- I know stupid- It was abnormal- had colposcopy/ biopsy came back HSIL, Dr. recommends Leep procedure- but in the hospital out patient and under general anesthesia- why- all info I have read on net says this procedure is done in an office not under anesthesia. ... it was great! No pain, no bleeding, nothing! If he's telling you not to eat after midnight the night before, you're probably going to be put to sleep for the procedure. You might have some cramping afterwards, but make sure that you get a rx for pain meds, I got Darvocet. It really is not a big deal. ... (2 replies)
