... Hello All, I am just writing this message for a few reasons...1) to let anyone who is curious know how this process goes. 2) because my Dr. suggested I post something about my experiences (this is because when I found out that I had an abnormal PAP and tested positive for high-risk HPV I did what anyone would do - GOOGLE. ... Hiya everyone, not sure you'll remember me cos I've been away from here for a while. Short story is I've been dealing with CINIII for a few years now, had 2 Leeps followed by smears which showed abnormal cells, followed by colpos that thought they'd got the bad cells nly for them to come back again the next time. Worst one was earlier this year when I had a Leep done under... (21 replies)
... Hey! There are plenty of us in the same boat with you! I had normal paps, then HSIL, then a few months later "widespread" carcinoma in situ (CINIII). How terrifying!! Anyway, I had a LEEP which came back unclear, then a cold knife cone which came back clear. My first post CKC pap was two months ago, and was normal. I think I'll always worry that it will come... ... Hi Becks. First let me tell you that you are not alone. I was diagnosed with HPV 8 months ago, 4 months ago had mild dyplasia, and a few weeks ago diagnosed with CINIII/high grade dysplasia. So I mine progessed VERY quickly, and there are other ladies on this board that have had the same. I go in for a LEEP in a few weeks, wish I could go in sooner-but it was the earliest I... ... d the colposcopy with 4 biopsies and the dr. called to say that the results were not cancer but severe dysplasia. I, too, see all the information that says that CINIII and cancer in situ are the same and it is confusing and upsetting not to have a clearer picture of whats actually going on. ... (2 replies)

... Hello! I am new to this whole arena. I have been reading and reading over this site ALL WEEKEND! I went for my PAP about two weeks ago-abnormal Colposcopy last week Got my results of CINIII/Severe Dysplasia this past Friday. HOW SCARY! This site has kinda put my mind at ease though. It's weird, I have had nothing but normal PAPs for 10 years now, and just had a baby... (7 replies)
... Call your dr again if you are worried. Ask if the margins were clear of the cin3 and ais. You have a right to your reports and the noisy wheel gets the grease. In the meantime, breathe. It is a good sign they haven't called you back right away to get more, so maybe they got it all. Stay hopeful you will beat this. (3 replies)
... I had my lletz 4 weeks ago. I am soo worried to find out the result. It it possible to remove AIS and CIN3 with LLETZ treatment? (3 replies)

... Okay so here is my update: I have had a lot of time to think about my options and what is going on. My symptoms and what has changed over the last three years. I have to be true to myself and believe what my body is telling me and at this point it is saying something isn't right. I called on Friday due to getting an infection from the biopsies. I spoke to the doctor... (45 replies)

... Hey there, I just thought that I would let you know that two weeks ago I had a LEEP done because about 2 months ago I had an abnormal PAP and tested positive for hr HPV and then had a colopscopy that came back as CINIII. There was about a week between my colopscopy and LEEP and I was thinking the exact same things as you are..."what are the chances that this has progressed to... (4 replies)
... I do have a gynocologist and she's the one who did the colposcopy and diagnosed the CINIII this time. The biopsy was done in April. ... (4 replies)
... Is it possible that the CINIII has already progressed to cancer, and they just don't know it yet? ... (4 replies)
... It's very unlikely for CIN1 to turn into cancer. First of all, 90-ish% of CIN1s spontaneously revert back to normal. In the 10% that don't, if you keep getting your Paps regularly, any further changes would be caught and easily treated long before they became invasive cancer. No, you don't need to try to have kids now. Even if your CIN advanced and needed treatment with... (2 replies)
... I am currently in the same place! I have CINIII according to my first diagnosis and will be going in for a second biopsy/opinion next week I live in LA and haven't really found any doctors - still looking... If you found a good doctor in LA please let me know!! Thanks! (1 replies)
