... analyze that tissue and say whether or not they got it all. Cold knife cone biopsy is the standard. Of course, that should all be after a colposcopy and ECC. The ECC is the least invasive biopsy between the ECC, LEEP and CKC. They should do the ECC at the same time as the colposcopy so you have a good idea on what's going on. ... (45 replies)

I read up on it and was so, so, SO scared! I read that it's horribly painful.
At the last minute, my doctor changed her mind and decided to do a D&C instead, for which I was unconscious, and which didn't hurt a bit.

I don't remember if you have had an endometrial biopsy before, but it is about the same as the ECC - at least it was for me. I hope everything goes smoothly and you get wonderful results!

got a call from the Dr today - after reviewing my history and wanting to be extra careful with it, I have to go back on Monday morning for an endometrial biopsy and another ECC. *sighs* .... :eek: (70 replies)
... Cervical Biopsy : Benign cervical mucosa with acute and chronic endocervicitis, microglandular hyperplasia, and immature squamous metaplasia. No dyplasia seen.
ECC : Inconclusive for glandular dysplasia

... UPDATE on meeeee! I just got my biopsy results. I had to call my doctor's office a MILLION times to get someone to talk to me & tell me what's up, and I'm not good at that, but I was a total BA & got it done.
