The ECC is the least invasive biopsy between the ECC, LEEP and CKC. They should do the ECC at the same time as the colposcopy so you have a good idea on what's going on. ... (45 replies)

I read up on it and was so, so, SO scared! I read that it's horribly painful.
At the last minute, my doctor changed her mind and decided to do a D&C instead, for which I was unconscious, and which didn't hurt a bit.

I don't remember if you have had an endometrial biopsy before, but it is about the same as the ECC - at least it was for me. I hope everything goes smoothly and you get wonderful results!

got a call from the Dr today - after reviewing my history and wanting to be extra careful with it, I have to go back on Monday morning for an endometrial biopsy and another ECC. *sighs* .... :eek: (70 replies)

ECC : Inconclusive for glandular dysplasia
